Our Duck Story

Upon visiting our office, you will note the frequent appearance of ducks. This is the story of how we came to have ducks as our mascot:

A loooooong time ago (in a galaxy far away), there was a paralegal who wanted the receptionist to “keep her ducks in a row.” Thus, a gift of 3 simple rubber ducks was presented to the receptionist, who adored them so much that she kept them on her desk – that is, the reception desk.

Well, as you will soon learn, little yellow rubber ducks are irresistible to hold. And so, visitors to our office would soon find themselves talking to us while unconsciously holding, twirling, and generally playing with the receptionist’s ducks. In fact, they became so attached to them that they would unwittingly turn to leave the office –with the ducks still firmly in their palms! We began begging, pleading, and occasionally tackling our clients and visitors to reclaim the ducks. The thought occurred to us that there might be a better approach. We thus procured ducks for everyone. And now, each visitor to our office is welcome to take home a duck of his/her very own (and one for each of the kids, of course)!

Thus, having established the duck presence in our office, our clients and colleagues were only too quick to call it our mascot and commence a duck collection for us. Ducks come to us from near and far, and we gratefully receive them into our home away from home.
